RE: Oerlikon Solar sees a shining future despite dark clouds over Wall Street
I like the idea of solar, but need to know what the real TCO is.
1. How many years will it sit on my roof before needing costly repairs?
2. How much maintenance does it require, and how much of that can I do myself?
3. Does the efficiency drop over time?
4. What types of weather can affect the reliability/durability of the equipment?
In other words, how much will I have spent after, say, 25 years? Any ideas?
