Please add me to the list of people who don't want to hear whining about higher gas prices. No, I don't like having to pay more to fill up either, but had Bill Clinton not vetoed the bill to drill for oil in ANWR we could be drilling a million barrels a day more oil by now. And it's sad when a President of the United States has to beg Saudi Arabia to do what we *won't* do here at home: increase oil production.

Yes, I'm all for researching alternative fuel technologies (ethanol, hydrogen cars, etc), but none of it is going to make any difference in the short term (yes, I know about Brazil's 30-year experiment with ethanol, and of the existence of hydrogen car protoypes, none of which I'll be able to buy anytime soon - spare me!).
