- I can't understand how anyone can say that the agricultural industry "sucks up the fresh water, and doesn't put it back". How do you think that the vegetables and produce get to market. It doesn't just appear! It takes water, fertilizer, and lots of hours of hard work to feed this nation. How anyone can point a finger at agriculture, I just don't understand.
