Economic growth is just a trick
All that really happens is people wake up in the morning, do something (or not), and go back to bed again.

Economic growth always has an un-growth as well - ie things go backwards.

The economy prevents people doing what they're best at. People generally do what they can to pay the bills, and the result is always a compromise.

Economic growth is the way to take people's houses back from them, so that the next generations need to buy all over again.

Economic growth is what gives the government control over peoples lives.

Who are the government anyway, and why aren't they doing a much much better job?
