Even if the income generated by alternative energy is paltry compared to their oil counterpart it is still significant enough to be heartening.
As for Exxon suing for Venezuelan oil rights, it seems like they are spending money on lawyers to use strong arm tactics when they could b putting it to good use in R&D for alternative energy sources. After all the oil giants have incredible resources as their disposal.
