MRSA in the US
I read this article and it was like reading something from the UK.....but five years ago. I suggest you all stop writing anything and Google our experience of MRSA so you can start from our body of experience and what is working and what isn't.

The article did not mention that a large minority of people. carry MRSA on their skin. My wife got it from the stitch being removed at home by a midwife without correct procedure being followed, but it was her own skin MRSA that was dragged into the wound.

So much info is available . For example hand washing is critical. Doctors can carry it on their clothes. Changing the bed in hospital may spread it around a ward onto surfaces. etc etc.

And watch out for C Difficile.
