The nuclear renaissance reminds me of the Titanic; all the media was saying how unsinkable the ship was, then it sank!
So far I've read the argument by both sides of the issue: safety , terrorist threats, nuclear proliferation, and wastes; each of which present excellent argument and debate as to why we should not rush into building new reactors without more unbiased, independent scientific inquiry.
The best example is SimCity; eventually the reactor built by a city blows up and must be replaced; provided the builder has cash-on-hand.
There is another aspect that must be included but not in this forum; it is the lack of discussion that prompts me to understand that this issue is going to become another assault on nature again.
