Leeching on the couch
There's leeches here already in the form of psychotherapists who make more money the longer they keep "curing" patients.

There have been lots of advances in drugs, some in behavioural therapy and none in the talkie stuff. It really would be cheaper to go to an astrologist or palm reader with the same level of effectiveness.
