Statins: heart attacks down, other deaths UP

What the statin producers highlight is of course the small decrease in heart attacks. What they don't want you to know that due to statins the death rate due to *other* causes go UP, causing the total morbidity rate to actually be somewhat higher.

This has been proven time and again in large scale double blind research.

I repeat: Total Morbidity is HIGHER in the statin-user groups, compared to the control groups.

I can easily give you names of these studies. It's public domain information.

It is always good to know what you're talking about before you implicitly or explicitly suggest to readers that statins are 'good'.

Of course, this is unwelcome knowledge for most people (because due to people's egos, they inherently find it more important to avoid acknowledging they're wrong, rather than be thankful for new information which might aid them, even if it means adjusting their opinions). Simply means the commercial brainwashing worked.
