Misys plc and Allscripts

Thanks for the post Dana. However, it appears that your desire for a sound bite clouds the facts. Putting aside if the merger of Misys Healthcare and Allscripts, completed in October 2008, was a "shotgun marriage" or not, the merger of Misys Healthcare and Allscripts resulted in the creation of a separate company ? ?Allscripts? ? which is traded on the NASDAQ (?MDRX?). Misys Open Source Solutions, LLC has been established as a separate, wholly-owned subsidiary of Misys plc, the London-based parent which is a publically traded company on the FTSE (MSY.L). My group is separate from Allscripts but is pleased to be their subcontractor to deliver the HIE infrastructure in Connecticut.

The bottom line...Separate companies; happy partners.
