Fat.. what you really mean is obese and not all fat people are obese.. which is why we have a different term.
Being obese opens the doors for many other things that may kill you. Lets also say the chances may be slightly higher than that of a perfectly healthy person. Course the whole reason everyone was freaking out is because the perfectly heatlhy people were becoming infected. ( research much? )
