Fortunately there are a lot of drugs that have, or soon will,
become generic and available at Wal-Mart (or the like) for $4
for 30 days - or $10 for 90 days.

I'm in the group that believe a lot of problems are related to
the quality of sleep one gets. Not surprising since I've been
given a Dx of sleep apnea. While the sleep test can eat up your deductible for the year there is movement towards sending a
patient home with an autopap for 3 nights and then giving
them a cpap. Far more intelligent.

OSA, by the way does cause hypertension, heart problems,
reflux, diabetes, etc. Two thirds of patients who survive a
stroke get a Dx of OSA and the American Stroke Association
now says OSA can cause a stroke.
