Agree with you, Dana, that
?Keeping your PHR private is your job. It is under your control, and no one else?s. To assume, in a headline or anywhere else, that PHR data belongs to the company storing it is pure ignorance. To spread that nonsense is counterproductive to everyone?s health and efforts to gain more control over their health data.? And as a (retired) medical man myself, I also agree that ?Google Health?s support for IBM?s Continua-compatible software to move medical device data online is a very good thing indeed?, at least until convincing evidence for the contrary has become available. But for a ZDNet blogger to complain about exaggerated and inflammatory headlines in other media seems to me to be a classic case of the pot commenting on the kettle's colour....
