Fecal studies
When one tries to consider just what the
SEC could do that would be of value I
think it's important to first look at what
the Whipple procedure is. They could do a
Google on the Whipple procedure - the
Mayo Clinic has two good drawings that
help understand it.

With this basic information it may become
clear that the changes in functioning of
the digestive system is one critical factor
related to the procedure. Forget more
cancer - focus on effective digestion.

With that in mind, maybe it would be best
for Jobs to provide the SEC with a weekly
stool sample - allowing that agency to
maintain ongoing reviews of how this
critical process is functioning.

Of course, any major CEO in this country
is subject to the risks of death from
strokes, heart attacks, super aggressive
cancers, drunk drivers, mal-functioning
corporate jets, etc. We don't think about
sudden death risks of these CEOs, but it's
about the same as ours - or worse when
you factor in the stress levels they have.

As for privacy - wasn't that something we
used to consider important years ago?
