... to see people are ambulatory and able to move quickly from ICU to home. They are now trying to add outpatient emergency surgery (in dining rooms) to the list of cost saving methods.

In England, because patients already in the ICU have a two month wait for a doctor, treatment at home and in the hospital have been found to produce similar results.
