We are doomed.
Why stop at an obesity tax? Why not a risky sex tax? You know, all those questions they ask you when you give blood? (Have you ever, even once, had sex with another man?)

We could have a risky behavior tax. Do you sky dive? Mountain climb? Ski? Snowboard? Skateboard? Swim? Do you smoke? Get drunk? Talk on a cell phone?

Here is a thought: why not just let people take responsibility for their own actions? Oh sorry -- I forgot that goes against the policy of the incoming regime. The thought police are probably capturing my IP address right now.
