- Why is no one considering the rampant over prescription of anti-depresant drugs and their relationship to suicides? SSRI drugs are a social scourge as terrible as crack or crystal meth. They are legal addictive drugs, handed out like candy by doctors, promising a cure for depression. But the side effects are worse than the medicine. It is a proven fact that GlaxoSmithKline's Paxil increases thoughts of suicide and homocide. You don't have to look much further.
