Life Experience
My wife and I considered long term care insurance and watching my grandmother's estate be completely drained to pay for facility care due to Alzheimer's. We found a site called Insure Your Future (http://www.disabilityinsuranceadvisor.com/) and called an agent. She took us through the options and provided quotes from several providers. We each ended up with a policy that pays monthly (versus daily) benefits that increase annually with inflation. We also got rid of the elimination period so benefits start right away. If you've ever known anyone that needed it and didn't have it, you know you need this coverage.
