The problem is costs.
Being uninsured is not the problem. It is a symptom. It is the cost of medicine. It is so expensive, that we cannot afford the insurance no matter who handles the policy. The profit margins on all the suppliers of medicine are absurd. A push wheelchair costs $1500 and is no more complex than a bicycle. Electric ones average $7500, a good used car. Some are $40,000 for quads, a Lexas. Get to the root of the problem and we will get somewhere.
