United States is indeed a strange country. One that loudly touts itself as the best of the world at the same time glosses over its fatal flaws. Should this government become laissezfair with its own people's health, it will risk losing the very engine that powers its existence. Sick/dead people can't work, without work, there will be no taxes, without taxes, there won't be money to pay anyone, you get the idea. Aside from being morally unconscionable, it is also totally amorally moronic.
