Too many lawyers...

People think they are entitled to live forever, and a pain-free life at that. Medical professionals and affiliated industries are far too often demonized for their hard work, which despite best efforts cannot yield the fountain of youth. Sorry, but this just has the feel of yet another attempt to paint a medical company as a "big, bad corporation concerned only about profits and image as a means to profits."

Yes, liability is deserved in some cases. But the limits of common sense in regards to medical liability have long since left us here in the U.S., where everything is now bogged down by excessive legal wrangling. No wonder health care costs have sky-rocketed.
