The problem isn't with the weath of Americans!
What a crock of shyte! No the problem is multi-fold.

1. Corporate greed is preventing solid reliable AND affordable health care for Americans.

2. Lack of political fortitude to break the stranglehold on the American worker by corporate greed.

3. Lack of a unified front from the American labor force to demand affordable AND quality health care.

Other nations seem to be doing well with socialized medicine. Sure you have to wait for specialty things like rhinoplasty or tummy tucks, but the important care is available and affordable. Sure others are paying higher taxes, but look at their quality of life compared to ours. Here is a 2006 look at some of the quality of life indicators.

We are not placing very well for a world super power. Kind of makes you wonder doesn't it? Bottom line the solution is very simple, but no one wants to implement it because then they would cut off their cash flow in the form of campaign funds and other such bennies and kick backs. Meanwhile the working stiff gets the stiffy for just trying to make ends meet and stay healthy. Something is terribly wrong here, and not enough people seem to care. devil
