Glad for Windows 7. . . Maybe
I'm glad Windows 7 is here and I hope it's a lot better than Vista. I have little experience with it which wasn't good but neither was my vista experience.

I assume things will get better and after some updates I won't have Windows 7 refering to a usb printer as a CD/DVD device but I don't understand why the big change anyway.

I still use XP Pro and couldn't care less about the ending of tech support. I never had a need for tech support. Maybe that's part of M$ plan in turning out flops and forcing them on the market.

What is the deal with all the fancy graphics that just waste resources? When forced to use a Vista machine I set it up for best performance which makes it look like Win 2000. It still has the functionality and performs much better. Who needs the silly windows side bar and shiny little task bar anyway?

I have actually switched to Ubuntu Linux and use a virtual machine with XP and only give it 512 MB RAM. It works just fine when I'm forced into using Windows because their hold on the market means everyone I interact with is using web apps and file formats that only work with windows and windows programs.

I really hope 7 does close the vista flop chapter because I don't want to write MS off all together.
