Cynocast may be a solution in some cases

I recently checked out cynocast (see http://www.cynocast.com/).
No software is installed. It uses a quite ingenious flash operation to run their software in up 10,000 participants browsers.
This is their claim (copied from their web site:
"CynoCast is end to end 100% Flash technology. It runs in any web browser and is completely operating system and platform independent. And, your audience never has to register or login to view your presentations. Ever!.
It may be worth checking out.
