Your grandson needs better tech support.
You might want to actually try learning how Vista works before using it. Sure, it's different than XP, so is using a MAC or Linux. Vista isn't perfect (nothing is) but it's actually nicer than XP once you take the time to learn it and set it up the way that's best for you.
It's so funny, people want Microsoft to innovate, but hate it when they change what they are familiar with.
