Clearcube has changed directions so many times any potential customer should run when they hear the name, maybe that is why they are spinning of another division.
It seems as if the VC's haven't wised up yet, they are giving more money to the same team who has failed thdm for ten years...$125M and still sinking. You would think they are smarter than that.
Under Mr.Hoffmans direction in his current role and previously the company has consistently failed to deliver satisfactory products, and has been late...really late with every release.
As for the VDI Works spin off, Clearcube only has one customer who is using their solution today and Mr.Hoffman has openly criticized that client.
Under Mr. Hoffman's reign they have lost all of the previous client facing executives and almost all of their sales staff, the company has gone from 200 employees to less than 50 and that includes te software development team in Pakistan so now the company would be about 20 people. After they made their third and fourth round of cuts in Q4 almost all of the remaining client facing staff resigned and the only sales were made by the federal team.
It seems tat in today's market anyone can be CEO, even those who have squandered over $100M.
