The twits are twittering on Twitter

You really are full of yourself aren't you?: "There's nothing intellectually more insignificant than a blog and Twitter is simply a multi platform bulletin board which enables people to express themselves."

Well that may be true for you... and apparently ZDNet that actually pays you to wright this? Yes it is true that there are a vast number of blogs that qualify as "intellectually insignificant" but look at how the Netroots (powered mainly by blogs) or one like Talking Point Memo that really was the catalyst behind the entire US AttorneyGate scandal.

Blogs have put much power in the hands of common folks, and folks that bloviate how dumb "Sillicon Valley" and "everybody else" is because he doesn't get it.

Bill Machrone didn't "get" Instant Messaging way back when ICQ first came on the scene. But he questioned the value of the technology, he didn't decide and tell everybody that used it they were stupid.

I'm not saying Twitter is great... I honestly am not thrilled with it, as it stands currently and similar to you am not "excited" by it. But you know what...
