IT WAS A BATTLE OF 2 FRUITS - THE BERRY WON.
What's in a name? WURD GAMES (should be Word Games) - a BlackBerry versus an Apple, and AT&T versus RIM, alphabet competition. My children, who are all professionals, and successful, prefer the BlackBerry, and I lost a tooth, biting into an Apple. With no disrespect to the Corporate families of Apple and AT&T, and wishing them all success in the launch of the iPhone, I can't stop myself from unscrambling words from "iPhone" - using the age old rule of "i" before "e." Oddly enough, I purchased 3 pairs of reading glasses on-line, Friday, together with a clip-on lamp for my keyboard - I can't see that well anymore. I can still hear, I can still taste, I can still touch and feel, and I also can smell, so, how does the iPhone accommodate a person like me, being unable to see that well? That's why, I'll wait for GOOGLE to launch their phone - surely, as user friendly as they are, they will no doubt consider the needs of all people with disabilities, and hopefully NOT name their phone after another fruit or vegetable.
Thank you for this TalkBack opportunity.
