Factually incorrect... as usual
A) This patch was released out of band because the vulnerability was ALREADY BEING EXPLOITED. Real attacks being made. The fact that the exploit was not published to the world until after the patch was released does not mean it didn't exist. And in fact, it's explicitly clear that it DID exist. So you're simply wrong.

B) Saying that the exploit doesn't work on Vista is stupid. The exploit DOES affect Vista, as Microsoft themselves have clearly stated. Vista's superior security may limit the damage that can be done through this exploit, but to claim that it simply doesn't work when Microsoft themselves clearly state that it DOES work, is bone-headed stupidity.
