An it department has nothing else to do throughout the day, perhaps there was a deployment schedule that, had the original time-line of privacy been kept, would have met the deadline without any problems. Now mel@ has to to the last two weeks in two days.
They should be held liable for disclosing something before a planned patch schedule had been fully implements. There was a schedule that Kaminsky had worked out. Professinals must be held to a higher standard because the average user doesn't know much about what goes on behind the scense.
