I'm afraid you misunderstand, Shayd
Mr. Moore is a well known security researcher, author of Metasploit and frequent presenter at BlackHat and other security conferences. He is not "handing a bomb" to anyone and to even remotely compare something as violent and murderous as physical explosives to a mere IT security issue is irresponsible.

Stop fear mongering.

Mr. Kaminsky is going to be giving a presentation on this flaw in August. He has always planned to release details and most likely code. He merely wanted there to be enough time for people to patch their DNS servers.

Hint: He discovered this flaw nearly a year ago. It's existed for literally decades. There is no way of knowing who in the past may have discovered it and kept the knowledge to themselves.

Trying to hold someone responsible for providing merely the information to do something destructive? Foolish. You are demanding the elimination of all libraries and published works, that every business that has designed, made or transported a weapon pay for damages caused by that weapon...

Again, stop fear monger.
