Well, not all is wonderful. Thank goodness I set a restore point before downloading and installing SP3. After the installation was complete the little window came up and said the installation was sucessful and to reboot your computer. I selected restart and after selecting the 'f2' key to continue momentarilly the Windows screen with the black background appeared.

Then the blue screen of death and it started to reboot all over again. After finally getting it to start in 'safe mode' I restored it to where it was before. The nerve!!! The update article said that SP3 was mostly all previous updates (which I am current on) and only a few minor new items that shouldn't affect your XP user experience. Another fine job by Microsoft!!!!!
