My take...
if it's so dangerous and all... then stop using the internet all together. Come on let's be real here. I mean as much as I dislike Microsoft even I will admit that the last couple years have been pretty quiet on the scale of infections.

Sure they still happen, but no where near the volume they used to AND the severity hasn't been all that bad either.

In a nut shell things have been relatively quiet out there. Linux, Mac and Windows now seem to all share similar playing fields in the security arena. Then again... who knows, maybe there is some massive attack about to happen.

Anyhow, the bottom line while I can agree with some of their recommendations some of them are pure fear tactics. devil
