Malware will always exist
As long as user can be convinced to install malware then malware will still exist. So to get rid of it you need to make it so users can't install a thing. That kind of defeats the purpose of PC if you ask me. So Vista will have it's share of malware same as always. Education can help but it won't eliminate the problem. Software can only do so much but eventually the decision to do something stupid lies with the user and we all have our stupid moments.
