What is hiding in the analysis?
One area that BI seems to miss is understanding what is going on inside business processes, especially those run by BPM tools. I think that there is often a feeling of comfort that comes from BI, since seeing is believing and you can ignore the gaps.

I think that BI is great, but in many cases, especially where BPM is involved, the intelligence shows only half the story, and it is the half that is hiding that holds the real key to making better decisions.
