I prefer University 2.0
University 1.0 is classroom, pen, paper, and book-bound.

University 2.0 is on-line classes & exams, pc-based note-taking, still book-bound though.

University 1.5 is a mix of the two, call it a transition stage.

University 3.0 is 100% electronic. All your books and reference materials are in electronic format or available through the net. Classes are conducted in multi-user environments that simultaneously support VOIP and text, with camera support with whomever is speaking at the time. Students are able to generate smaller interactive groups in the same environment for team projects. Think of it as a merger of teleconferencing and massive-multi-user on-line role playing games.

University 4.0 will be total VR environment.

University 5.0 will be direct brain-modification learning.
