True SaaS for mid-range ERP is still some way off, if that
means the dream of instant turning on and off of full
functionality - as it's simply too complex to implement
without consulting services. Netsuite has a SaaS delivery and
pricing model, but not a zero-footprint implementation. In
truth the legions of Salesforce.com consultants show this is
an overhype even for CRM.
