audit no audit
From a technical direction I have almost 30 years experience with computers and software and over the past 8 years or so I have often seen auditors such as KPMG/PWC and alike audit a bank, insurance, payment type companies and pass them.

This of cause comes as a shock to many people in the company as they can't understand how the company they work for could pass an audit knowing the day to day issues that they face.

Are the business paying the auditors for a clean audit?

I often do not worry about this until all the fraud cases and banking issues arose last year.

Is it not time for something other than and audit no audit ?
