The ribbon, a "debacle?"
"As has been shown in the ?ribbon? menu debacle of Office 2007, no-one will likely want it."

There have been some dissenters, but from what I've read so far, the biggest complaints have been simply that it's so different and the lack of customization. Other than that, pretty much everything I've seen is positive.

So, other than a few power users and a few people resistant to any sort of change, what's so bad about the ribbon?

I understand - some people didn't like it. But from what I can tell, the number of people who hate the Office 2007 ribbon is a few orders of magnitude less than the number of people who hated Vista. I think it was far from a "debacle." I think it was a success.
