Ikea still very silo'ed
Ikea may have doine a great job automating their back office, but the front office is a joke. The company remains very brick-and-mortar oriented, selling primarily the in-store experience where you follow a well-directed path. Their e-commerce website is practically non-existent, which is quite surprising for such a globally visible brand with boxed merchandise that is very shipmnent-friendly.
