Microsoft is trying to play games again.
The selection screen is reasonable except for the screed under the IE8 browser indicating that it is "better faster safer easier". First of all, "better faster safer and easier" than what ? IE6 ? Firefox ? Safari ?...If the comparison is with IE6, then perhaps so, but compared to other browsers, a straight and blunt no !.....Not good enough I feel. At the moment that text is designed to snare the unwitting user into blind IE8 acceptance using clever wording that says everything and means nothing. Every text on every browser needs to be neutral in so far as it simply says what the browser can or cannot do. Nothing more.
