there's absolutely too much at stake. The
mobile marketplace will depend on WM7 being
released in a timely fashion. I for one would
like to see this pink device come to fruition.
There are legions of Windows / C# developers
who stand to profit well from the direction
Zune, WM, and the on-line market place are
moving. Ultimately, M$ has to go full bore with
developing a consumer centric smartphone and
increase the pace of innovation, which is what
should happen once WM7 is released. For now,
they've belatedly bitten off a lot to chew and
deliver in the ZuneHD and WM7. Once these
products are released, it should be easier for
them to keep pace with the innovation Apple,
Palm, and Google have been demonstrating over
the bast 1-2 years.
