Compared to Amazon...
I compared the prices with Amazon's equivalent, the results are in my blog at http://bit.ly/OT7V8. Anyway, they seem to be approximately the same, which is probably the meaning that we should have associated with being "competitive" all along.

Is that a lot or not? Hard to say at this point - the architecture of cloud applications is so young that it's hard to estimate what running a current application on Azure would cost. I guess we'll be waiting for TCO calculations for the first few years... Well, at least the pricing isn't prohibitively high.
