It should be made clear
Windows Mobile has supported gesture based applications for a long time now. I was using gestures years ago in Pocket Player and I've been using a gesture enabled keyboard called TouchPal for months now. HTC TouchFlo has also supported gestures for quite some time too.

So when they are talking about WM6.5 supporting gestures, they are talking about it at the OS level so that developers won't need to implement their own gesture routines any more.

Of course, Europe will instead get WM6.5E which will not have bundled gesture support so that Apple doesn't file a complaint with the EC. wink
