I can only assume this is a blue sky concept
that will never make it into a product.

A way of controlling simple phone functions
which requires you to have the phone screen
facing away from you? ROFL. The only
applications that can possibly be useful are
fully audio centric. And why not just specify
to the hardware manufacturers that they put in
an accelerometer and at least TRY to match the
iPhone in some areas? Because they are
trying... grasping... at anything which will
give them an edge over the Apple. Trust me,
this isn't it!

As a long time Windows Mobile user, all I can
say is they've got a lot of catching up to do.
They are so far behind, and the current OS so
poor, that I'm not convinced they can catchup
without rendering their current application
base useless... and it is these apps which are
the only thing keeping WM users loyal.
Well, I for one am tired of waiting for big
improvements to this sluggish OS with the
unfriendly UI.

My next phone will probably be an Android.
