Zune.net traffic from Mexico is 23%. Testing new Zunes?
I have noticed Zune.net traffic from Mexico has risen to 23% from 2.7% pushing US traffic down to 30%. I kept an old page from May 2009 from Alexa.com. I believe most of the rise in activity from Mexico started May 1, if you look at the graph.

May 2009 user traffic:
United States 30.7%
Mexico 23.8%
Colombia 5.7%
Canada 5.4%

March 2009 user traffic:
United States 72.1%
Canada 3.5%
Mexico 2.7%
Colombia 0.7%

My guess is that the activity might be a sign new Zunes are being tested. Microsoft contracts Flextronics to manufacture the Zune and Flextronics has a manufacturing plant in Mexico.

There was news of Flextronics contracted to make 2500 new Zune prototypes. But I do not think 2500 new Zunes can produce that much traffic.

Does anyone have another reason to explain why traffic from Mexico has risen?
