The Windows video driver model was changed

This is one big reason video drivers were a
hassle when Vista came out. But since that
wasn't the case with the release of Windows 7,
nVidia's boasting is full of hot air. I'm sure
it was largely regression testing (vs. what
Vista required, lots of work on the behalf of
nVidia's driver authors).

Nonetheless, it's good drivers are ready at the
start and users have the benefit of lots of QA
cycles since Vista "took one for the (Windows)
team".
