Really?
The EC doesn't have Microsoft hating judges. It has Microsoft being found in violation of the EC rules/regulations repeatedly. Ergo, the judges have to bring the hammer down.

Or would you rather that they didn't do anything when companies did "bad things?" Or is it that you have a "Microsoft is special and shouldn't be touched" mindset?
