- I had a Zune
-
Love my my iPod better. Wasn't at all impressed with it. The Service in the music store was shoddy. If you buy music from their store, you have to immediately burn it to disc, and rip it back off, because the next time you go to play a song, they have discontinued it from the store, and therefore DRM would kill the song or in cases an entire albulm. And then Microslut would try to charge for burn rights on top of it.
Sorry, bad experience with Zune, wouldn't shed a tear if it would die. Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust.
When I buy music, I expect to be able to use it. in the old service MSN Music store, a person could back up their music rights to the drive, so even if the store dropped the album you could always play it. Sorry but it should just look at the account history and say, "yes he bought it here, he can always play it, regardless if it stays in the store.
And then of course, if you had music from the previous service, MSN Music, you would have to burn it off, and again rip it back in. They didn't make it smart enough to interface with their other database.
The Zune software on the PC 1st gen was ok, V2 sucked, especially when looking for albulm information. used to be when you looked for album info you could match it, then in V2 they broke that, and it screwed up track names and track order, because it would point at some international version of the disc. Never did make it into V3, got pissed with it, and gave it away. Bought my ipod touch, much more happier with itunes for track management, and haven't lost access to one song yet.
And this is not anti-M$ fud, it is actuall experience. Not happy with their service at ALL! - Posted by: xXSpeedzXx Posted on: 04/10/09 (Edited: 04/10/2009 @ 09:12) You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
