Homegroups Search?
A few months back I looked into the google server situation, it looks like Microsoft could include exactly this with Windows 7 and Office 14.

We already know they have the option to "share" documents within home groups in Windows 7, and if we can share that indexed across home groups, maybe they can increase the scale in which that is done to a live search across all documents and contents of your homegroup or domain?
